Waking Up Together!
Margot’s Pilgrimage to Oneness University
(India: January, 2006)

The Buddha said, “Awakening is the end of suffering”. We are slowly but surely, all of us, reaching a stage where we question the necessity of suffering… If we take that question to the next level, it would be posed as: "Is it possible to live in a state of stabilized contentment?"

Most of you reading this have already experienced being in bliss. The state of oneness. No separation. We know it. We want it. In fact, we ARE it. But, the problem is: 1) We live and swim in an anti ecstatic conspiracy and it affects us deeply; and 2) Our mind/ego tends to take over and create the illusion of duality and separation. And so we struggle, seek, hunt, and stalk those blissful moments … only to loose them again to depression, loneliness, and sorrow.

But what if we ALL woke up at the same time? We could support one another in celebrating the END OF SUFFERING. Once and for all!

On January 2, 2006, I went to India to  participate in the 21-day Enlightenment Process at the Oneness University, founded by Sri Bhagavan Kalki and his wife Sri Amma. This couple have, I am told, some 60 million followers or more in India. They are called “Mukti Avatars”. They have the mission to give or transfer enlightenment to others. According to them, enlightenment is simply a radical shift in the way our brains’ function — for most people in the West, our parietal lobes are currently in overdrive. This creates a sense of separation — “me against the world.”

Awakening, according to Bhagavan as well as with current neuro-biological research, happens when the parietal lobes are slowed down, while the frontal lobes are activated. In particular, the left frontal lobe when activated and charged with strong gamma frequencies, is responsible for eliciting deep states of bliss and oneness, which can lead to permanent awakening.

It appears that these “brain patterns of enlightenment’ are “installed” as our brain frequencies are changed during the 21 day enlightenment process. I certainly felt a great and deep mutation taking place in my brain… and it is still going on! I can feel it even as I write this article.

When I arrived on the Campus of the Oneness University, near Chennai (Madras. India), I discovered a very lovely place with gracious buildings ornamented with colonnades and painted in soft peach and crème colors. It was designed according to sacred geometry in the Vastu, or Vedic system. The ashram is surrounded by lawns, gardens, fields and a meditation cabaña. For the first week, I participated in a morning “transmission” (Deeksha) which consisted of listening to the teacher singing a mantra of blessing and calling “The Presence” of spirit. This Presence was so powerful it wiped me out! And all I could do for a week was to go to my room and lie down for hours on end, sleep twelve hours, or at most take walks.

So I went to the teacher and said, “There is nothing going on.” “Just rest,” he replied, “and allow Bhagavan’s grace to work on you.” I felt my mind striving to achieve or search, or practice, as I was thinking “there must be something to Get.” Bhagavan says, “The poor mind cannot do anything, it is conflict ridden, in opposition with itself, repetitive in nature. It is too ancient. It has to realize it is helpless and give up. That is when Grace can take over.” And indeed, I felt showered with Grace throughout this amazing retreat.

Bhagavan and Amma’s stated mission is to bring 64,000 people to full enlightenment by the year 2012. To this effect they are building a temple the size of a football field , built on a major “lay line” on the earth’s power grid. The temple is destined to house 8,000 “cosmic beings” who will meditate 24x7x365 while sitting in a permanent state of Samadhi. The meditators will release these blissful frequencies all across the earth.

Meanwhile, there are many people initiated by Bhagavan and Amma to “give Deeksha,” or energy transference, to others, via a very simple meditation ceremony. During these energy transmissions, the Deeksha givers will be tuned in to the temple and the cosmic beings. Thus, the effectiveness of the transmission will be enhanced. And thus people’s brains will be shifted and awakening speeded up. That, in a nutshell is the plan.

I consider Bhagavan one of the most efficient and powerful Spiritual Activists currently alive on the planet. He and his wife have major “mojo”!

Waking Up Together
I invite everyone to tune in to a wonderful opportunity to Wake Up Together on April 2 – 3, 2006, at the Sheraton Starwood Hotel in Los Angeles. You will have the rare opportunity to come and experience the presence, teachings, and transmissions of Bhagavan’s two foremost teachers : Sri Raniji, a wonderful woman from India with a heart of gold, and Acharya Sri Ananda Giriji, who is coming from the Oneness University in India. This man is “the embodiment of Oneness Consciousness. In his presence, one directly experiences the awakening and flowering of the heart.”

SEE YOU THERE!

Love & Blessings,
Margot
