Have you noticed the difference between the French and the American way of perceiving the relationship beteen sex and politics ?

The French people’s reaction to the sexual adventures of their politicians is starkly different from the United States where an extra marital adventure is considered to be a sex scandal which can threaten to bring down a government.

Imagine the good that could have happened if the 60 miilion dollars spent to try to figure out whether Clinton did it with Monica L. or not, had been spent on Health and Education !

In France, sex and politics are intermingled and it is an accepted fact. French President Francois Mitterand, for instance, had a mistress and a daughter born out of wedlock, while married, and father of a legitimate son. They all showed up next to each other at his funeral. In France the concenssus seems to be that a successful politician is also a seductive politician. Sex is, some say, almost a “civic imperative” !

President Valery Giscard d’Estaing is quoted as saying : “when I was president of the Republic, I was in love with 17 million French women... When I saw them in the crowd, they felt it and then they voted for me.” Fancy Bush saying that!!! It is an understood fact in France that “Good politicans love and are loved”. The French don’t really mind if a leader has extra marital affairs, as long as he is a good leader, It is his business. In the USA, leaders have to “walk the line” ... “or else” !

In ancient China, the emperors had nine concubines and it was believed that practicing the tantric arts in the bedchambre (transmutation of sexual energy into clear awareness and bliss) brought power and made one a better leader. In many countries, it was, and still is considered that , to be a good leader, one needs many sexual partners and lots of love making.

I went to Bhutan, where the King is married to four gorgeous princesses (now Queens)...all four, sisters ! And in Bhutan, probably the last Tantric Kingdom on earth, women legally have the right to marry up to four men. Alleluia, there is hope yet ! Let’s all vote to have a “National Orgasm Day” during which everyone stays home and makes love !

Let’s surround the planet with orgasmic energies... What a healing ! Would killings and war stop if everyone made love on a regular basis ? Aren’t people raping other people during wars, because they are sexually frustrated and they have not been shown how to connect sex and heart?
